Ormskirk Vintage Fair

Just wanted to write a quick blog about the great day I had at Ormskirk Vintage Fair today.  I had such a busy day, which is a good job because I think if I had had one minutes break I would have fallen asleep, as I've had a few late nights and early mornings, in the run up to the fair, preparing for it! The fair was based in Ormskirk town centre with outdoor market stalls and indoor stalls at the gorgeous Chapel Gallery http://www.chapelgallery.org.uk/

I had a lovely space on the top floor of the gallery right next to a giant chess board! We were offering free sewing workshops where people could make fabric corsage brooches. We also had our new craft kits and covered buttons for sale as well as promoting our hen do party workshops and new kids sewing parties! Needless to say after a busy busy weekend I'm sitting here with glass of wine and chocolate at the ready!

The thing I love the most about doing the craft workshops and fairs is all the lovely people I meet, the reaction I get when I tell people about our workshops and how proud everyone always is with their creations! Today we had a great mix of ages and abilitys, the youngest being 4years old and a BOY! He loved it, he had a bit of help from mum but he was very good at folding the circles of fabric to make his corsage.

Can't wait for our next fair 'An Oasis In the City' http://www.4manchesterwomen.co.uk/events/ Bowdon, Cheshire 13th July then another Ormskirk Vintage Fair 28th July!

So here are the pics from today!
